Ernest Hemingway (1899–1961) là nhà văn người Mỹ. Ông được trao giải Pulitzer cho tác phẩm hư cấu năm 1953 cho cuốn The Old Man and the Sea và giải Nobel văn chương năm 1954.

Bài thơ

Người duy nhất mà tôi từng yêu
Chào tạm biệt
Và bước đi
Anh bị giết ở Picardy
Vào một ngày nắng.
