Mary Oliver (1935–2019) là nhà thơ người Mỹ. Bà được trao giải Pulitzer cho thơ năm 1984, giải Sách Quốc gia Mỹ cho thơ năm 1992, và giải văn chương Lannan cho thơ năm 1998.

Bài thơ của một thế giới

Sáng nay
con diệc trắng xinh đẹp
lượn lờ trên mặt nước

rồi vào bầu trời của nơi này
một thế giới
chúng ta đều thuộc về

nơi mà mọi thứ
sớm hay muộn
là một phần của mọi thứ khác

ý nghĩ ấy làm tôi thấy
trong một lúc ngắn ngủi
mình cũng khá đẹp đẽ.
